AR Rahman takes around 1,000 auditions for '99 Songs'

Oscar-winning Indian music executive AR Rahman, who has composed and co-created "99 Tunes", says a lead couple of the film were looked over around 1,000 tryouts and the up and coming film will have 10 to 12 tracks.

On Wednesday, Rahman said on Facebook that the film's generation is going ahead going full bore.

"For the recent years, we have taken the time important to hold around 1,000 tryouts with the goal that we can locate the correct kid and young lady. I think we have discovered those uncommon individuals who have conveyed freshness and ability to the screen," Rahman composed.

"The principle on-screen characters have been prepared for over a year at the KM Music Center where they've figured out how to play the melodic instruments required for their parts. They have additionally gone to elite acting workshops in Hollywood.

"The collection will have 10 or 12 tracks that I trust you like," he included.

Rahman, who is backing the film under his flag YM Motion pictures alongside Perfect Stimulation, said that "99 Melodies" is being shot in India and the creators have completed a "long shooting plan in Ukraine". He said the motion picture is "nearly" total.

"Before long we're preparing to discharge the music collection (it's been four years really taking shape).
